Quicksilver’s topical serums contain very low concentrations per dose of these FDA-approved glycols to support the solvency of application. It aids absorption and penetration of ingredients without leaving a sticky residue behind. The small amount used is enough to achieve the desired application benefits while keeping exposure low. In comparison, many lotions and sunscreens use glycols but in much greater amounts. It is a personal choice whether you want to use this product or not.
Without that ingredient, the product will not stabilize and will not work right. At the moment this is the only way to make this product work correctly. Please feel free to choose a different product if you want to avoid those ingredients.
